Trenton Public Library
Proud to be of service to our community!
On August 13, 2008, the Trenton Public Library re-opened in its new home on Main Street. The new location is in a building constructed in 1916 that most recently held the Massacre Canyon VFW, and over the years has served many uses, including Smith's clothing store.
The new location gives the library almost triple the square footage of the previous location on East First Street. This extra room allows for a separate children's area, and a side room that is being converted into a sitting room for library patrons.
Trenton Public Library is now located at 406 Main Street, across the street from the Post Office. The telephone number remains the same (308)334-5413 and the email address is still read2trenton@gpcom.net.
The library hours are as follows:
Wednesday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The Trenton Library Board meets in the library the first Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m.
The library is happy to provide free WiFi to anyone within reach of our signal. We also are a member of the NebrasKard system providing local patrons access to many libraries across Nebraska. Inquire at the library for details.
We are proud to be an accredited Nebraska library.Click here for pictures of our new Library Trenton Public Library
