Education

Trenton public schools are included in the Hitchcock County Unified School District. Schools are located as follows:

• Elementary school (grades K -6) is located in Culbertson.
• Junior High and Senior High Students attend school in Trenton (Grades 7-12)

All students are transported to their respective schools by bus, including the students living in the rural area.

Educational Service Unit 15 is headquartered in Trenton and serves six counties. Services available include media technology, staff development/curriculum, audio-visual programs, cooperative purchasing, speech therapists, school psychologist, grant writing (art, vocational, drug and alcohol), Internet, and preschool special education.
