S.O.S.( Save our Swanson). From the S.O. S. committee " SOS! Save Our Swanson, will meet Monday evening, November 30th, at 7:00 p.m. at Northshore Marina. SOS! was instrumental in getting Frenchman/Cambridge Irrigation District personnel to work at Swanson Lake to clear beaches this month. That work was a huge step in making beaches more useful for the 2010 season. The next step in the SOS! plan to remove unwanted growth from around the lake will be discussed at the Monday meeting. All interested parties are urged to attend. SOS! is a grassroots movement to expand recreational opportunities for family enjoyment at the Swanson Recreational Area.
